G'day everyone and welcome to 2008. Glad you could make it. In the non-cyber world I'm still writing "December" even though I should be writing "January". At least I get the year correct. Things can only get better...
I will make an effort to post a lot more this year, so you'll just have to keep watching. In the meantime, Gypsy has sent his responses to comments on his "bullies" post (I see Miss Litzi is on the ball!) and he's also written a part II

Happy New Year Nash, Firehorse and Litzi. It was weird (in a good way) to read the comments coming from Gypsy 'on the inside'. To think that he gives a tinkers cuss about what we think of bullies is endearing. I thought that it would be hard to hear what other people thought of 'the inside' for those on 'the inside' because there would be a distant ringing of condescension about our pity or our sense of empathy.

You just stated exactly what I'd been thinking; how Gypsy was going to react to our comments. I monitored my words carefully for fear of offending him or coming across as "belittling". Apparently he was okay with our opinions. Maybe he liked your Australian accent..

Thanks for dropping by. The first week's been very pleasant for me. I was staying with my sister n brother-in-law for a week and didn't have to lift a finger!
As for the internet, it's still crappy, but the upgrade happens next week. Hoo-bloody-ray! I'll let you know if (when) I have more coincidence files to report...

I sincerely hope your internet service is upgraded next week, as I’m sure you do. I had NO clue how much I’d come to rely on the computer until the power was off for a day and a half. Are you aware of anything like Methadone for computer junkies when their fix is kaput?
